Conquering the industrial safety market with the smart safety helmet 'TUGU'… MOU signed with local distributor

[Job Post] Reporter Jeon Jin-hong = Asguard Co., Ltd. has begun to advance into the Vietnamese and Thai markets by participating in the '2025 ASEAN Comprehensive Product Trade Mission'.

This trade mission was held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Bangkok, Thailand from May 12 to 16, and was held in the form of a 1:1 export consultation meeting, jointly hosted by Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province Economic and Science Promotion Agency, and KOTRA.

At this event, Asguard introduced its core product, the smart integrated safety helmet 'TUGU', to local buyers and presented safety solutions optimized for Southeast Asian industrial sites.

TUGU is an intelligent protective device equipped with a shock sensor, temperature and humidity sensor, black box, automatic lantern, dual radio, etc., and is a platform device that provides integrated support from accident prevention to real-time response and aftercare.

To accelerate its entry into the local market, Asgard signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with THIEN NHAN TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT and BAO NGHI GROUP JOINT STOCK COMPANY, leading industrial safety equipment distributors in Vietnam. The two companies are leading companies that supply protective equipment to major industries such as power, transportation, and marine, respectively.

In particular, THIEN NHAN supplies 800,000 to 1 million Japanese safety helmets annually to the Vietnam Electricity Corporation (EVN), and also acts as a general distributor for Korean electrical equipment maintenance equipment. BAO NGHI GROUP is a specialized company that imports and distributes PPE and firefighting rescue equipment, and has experience participating in large-scale infrastructure projects.

Asgard and its partners plan to sequentially pursue cooperation plans in the future, including ▲acquiring local certification ▲on-site testing ▲localizing product functions ▲joint marketing, etc.

Kim Ung-bae, CEO of Asguard, emphasized, “Vietnam is the center of the ASEAN economy, and Thailand is a strategic market based on manufacturing,” and “TUGU will become a partner in the industrial field beyond simple protective equipment.” He continued, “Under the belief that we protect lives through technology, we will establish new global industrial safety standards.”

Meanwhile, Asguard is preparing to expand its market to Europe, the Middle East, and South America, starting with its entry into Southeast Asia.
